Voices of the Wild (Borneo) is a complete concept fundraising campaign developed for a nonprofit dedicated to protecting endangered wildlife and preserving rainforest ecosystems. The project explores how emotionally resonant storytelling can be used to transform awareness into sustained donor support. At the centre of the campaign is the positioning idea “Because Silence Is Forever”, which reframes conservation as an urgent moral responsibility rather than a distant environmental issue. To humanise the cause, I developed María the Orangutan as the symbolic face of the campaign, a familiar, memorable figure audiences can emotionally connect with and recognise across touch points.

The campaign strategy combines brand identity, messaging, and content design to support recurring donations. This included a narrative framework built around María’s story, optimised donation page copy, social captions, and short-form storytelling concepts designed to encourage monthly support. A multi-pillar content and marketing strategy was developed, supported by a three-month sample calendar spanning education, impact reporting, flagship stories, and community engagement, aligned with current nonprofit digital marketing best practices.

This project demonstrates my ability to translate insight, empathy, and strategy into a unified NGO campaign. It showcases how clear positioning, emotionally intelligent storytelling, and data-informed planning can work together to build trust, grow donor communities, and support long-term conservation impact — even in the absence of a live digital product.
